These shelters are constructed through a number of different techniques and patterns that vary from ‘Nest Collections’ where I move back and forth from site to material, to ‘Deposited Collections’ where I walk around collecting with or without direction until I can carry no more, setting up camp at that position. I have also constructed some of these shelters on the beaches alone the Thames where people can watch me build and where the tide will come in and wash them away.
