'Sail Me' is a piece that I have wanted to do for a number of years now, which consists of three parts.

Firstly the public viewing of the show people where encouraged to make origami boats with a message that they would like to send with it. Secondly I took these boats to a river and allowed them to set sail where they floated away. Thirdly, both of these events were photographed and the better of these shots will be left on a digital photo-frame as part of the installational piece in the Broadwalk Arts gallery space.

The idea for the piece came from my love of optimism and my belief that in times like these people should be appreciating the smaller things.
