As part of my practice I love to use light as a means to encapsulate space and movement though long-term exposure photography. I use hand held lamps and torches, fire in the form of candles and poi dancing, as well as glow sticks and UV reactive body paints. The photographic drawings are considered to be final pieces on their own but they are also taking on the form of 3D sculptural and installation works as well as small-scale jewelry pieces. These are created in many mediums but most recently I have become interested in how the forms can exist as light again, as an energetic movement, captured within a space that the public can interact with.
