From the very first year in my degree onwards I have always had a keen interest in the use of casting techniques running alongside the rest of my practice as a means of recreated existing objects in unusual materials and I have had the privilege to of worked under the guidance of a number of the most knowledgeable casting experts in the world. These growing works are made in respect of the material of which they are made and I am more recently considering iron as my favourite metal thanks to the Metal Monkeys.
