‘Begging for Social Interaction’ is a workshop, activity day based artwork that is in continuation of my ideas of audience participation and interactivity between the artist, the public and spaces. This work takes into account my concepts on the constructed utopian situation and inter-human connections within the public realm. These explored perceptions have led to human behaviour as being one of the major aspects in the works, which are created through direct contact with the public. The activities come in the form of playful street performances or in the alternative-interactions made with the use everyday objects, in a situation based around the concept of the picnic.

The main aim of these workshops are to bring people who are interested in the building of new communities, ideas of escapist realities and an artwork existing as an experiential event together as a group to have a day of interactive fun.
